EMBRACE YOUR FUTURE WITH LI-CBT

Each day 70,000 thoughts go through your mind.
Which ones are you listening to?

So, what is CBT therapy, and how can it help you?

CBT, or cognitive-behavioral therapy, is an action-oriented approach to treating anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, depression, and low self-esteem.

Unlike traditional talk therapy, which delves into past experiences and emotions, CBT focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to symptoms.

It is a practical and goal-oriented therapy intended for people suffering from specific issues, such as anxiety or phobias, and emphasizes self-help.

What sets CBT apart from other forms of therapy
is its evidence-based nature.

CBT has been rigorously tested and proven effective in clinical trials,
with numerous studies demonstrating its effectiveness.

Additionally, CBT is a short-term treatment that involves setting goals and working towards achieving them through behavioral change and mental exercises.

Ultimately, CBT provides patients with effective tools and strategies
for managing their symptoms in the long term!

Who Am I To Help?

My name is Elli David, I am state-certified low-intensity cognitive behavioral therapist and the founder of ReMind LI-CBT. I specialize in treating anxiety of all forms, panic disorder/phobias, and light-moderate depression.

I founded Mind CBT with the goal of helping people make meaningful and positive changes in their lives. I primarily work to help clients utilize evidence-based techniques that can both guide them through their emotional and behavioral struggles, as well as allow them to maintain practical skills to fall back on when faced with future, similar challenges. It has been a true gift to work with each and every person who has let me be a part of their journey until now, and I look forward to working with you as well.

A bit about me – I am from the U.S. and moved to Israel several years ago. I studied psychology in California and completed my undergrad in psychology at Reichman University (Israel). I have several years of guided internship experience in the therapeutic field and became a certified low-intensity cognitive behavioral therapist in 2022 after completing my studies at the Wingate Institute. It was very important for me that the therapy be accessible to all and I, therefore, treat primarily online and offer flexible scheduling hours.

CBT addresses the relationship between cognition (thought processes) and behavior. It is a type of practical therapy that attempts to resolve one problem at a time.

For that reason, sessions will focus on addressing the relevant,
goal-specific concerns of the patient.

The first meeting with me is an assessment to explore the outward problem,
and what goals to set for the therapy.

With this information, I will decide whether CBT will help.

CBT is designed to be a short-term treatment and typically lasts
somewhere between 12 and 20 weeks.

Sessions are held once a week and last for an hour each meeting.

Sometimes, there may be a need to meet twice a week or hold additional meetings, especially when working through exposure.

It is very important to be consistent in showing up to meetings and your participation directly affects the overall success of the treatment.

At this time, meetings are taking place online only, with the exception of exposure treatment meeting. Coming soon, a physical Herzliya location will open for frontal meetings.
